We are the institutional-grade Mobile Virtual Network Enabler for Nigeria, building the platform layer that lets banks, fintechs, consumer brands, enterprise groups, and foreign operators launch their own mobile services without building their own network.
MobileCoreX Limited (MCX) is a Nigerian-incorporated company, founded in 2023, headquartered in Abuja, and positioned in the NCC’s MVNE framework. We operate the network, platform, and regulatory infrastructure that lets institutional brands enter mobile telecommunications without acquiring their own spectrum or building their own core.
Purpose
Forty-plus licences, an open infrastructure gap
The Nigerian Communications Commission has issued more than 46 MVNO licences across its five-tier framework. Most cannot launch because the platform infrastructure beneath those licences — the core network, the BSS, the activation layer, the regulatory engagement — does not exist at institutional grade. MCX exists to close that gap and convert licences into operational businesses.

Platform
Four platform modules, one institutional platform
MCX operates four integrated platform modules: Core (the multi-host mobile network), BSS (the business support system built on Tecnotree D-Stack), Activate (SIM, eSIM, KYC, subscriber lifecycle), and Marketplace (the B2B2X layer built on Tecnotree Moments). The four modules are deployed through MCX Launch Path — the managed onboarding programme. MVNOs pick what they need; MCX runs the rest.

Built by Nigerian telecoms operators
MCX is led by an Executive Officers team with operating experience inside Nigerian mobile network operators. The Board of Directors is being composed in stages as MCX prepares for institutional fundraising. The CEO and CTO are confirmed Executive Directors at launch; the Chairman and independent non-executive directors will be announced as each appointment is formalised.
